Moldovan court rules 200 mln euro loan from Russia unconstitutional

CHISINAU, May 8 (PRIME) -- The Constitutional Court of Moldova deemed unconstitutional late on Thursday an agreement to borrow 200 million euros from Russia in a final move.

On April 23, the court suspended the agreement until its Constitutional Court assessment.

The hearings of the case were initiated by parliamentarian factions Pro Moldova, Party of Action and Solidarity, and the Dignity and Truth Platform Party. The oppositional parties said the agreement violated national interests.
